“Las Necesidades de la Vida” (Life’s Necessities) Audio Lesson

Welcome back, Anna!

Imagine living in a house where everyone speaks a different
language than you. There are things that you simply need to know
and questions that you need to get across and understand the
answers. I was thrown into this type of situation once, and, let
me tell you, it’s not much fun! One can always use sign language,
but it would have been so much easier to have known some key words
that I could have used.

So, I thought, in these next four lessons, I would teach you about
how to make sure your needs are met when you’re in a
Spanish-speaking environment. You’ll learn how to ask someone
where the bathrooms are, when breakfast is, tell them you’re hungry
or thirsty, and lots more!
